YOUR VISIT

Some information for your visit…..

House Opening Times

You are welcome to have a pre-show drink and picnic before the performance. For evening performances beginning at 7.45pm, the Courtyard Bar and auditorium will be open from 6.15pm. For matinees when performances start at 2.30pm they will be open from 1.00pm.

The Courtyard Bar and Picnics

Please support our bar which will be selling prosecco, white and red wine (by the bottle and by the glass), beer, lager, cider and soft drinks.  It’s much easier than carrying heavy bottles with your picnic and no glasses to wash up!

Enjoy your picnic before the show. A bell will ring ten minutes before the performance is due to begin which will allow you time to clear away and for our Front of House staff to accommodate the rest of the audience.  No glasses will be allowed in the auditorium but if you buy a drink at the bar it can be transferred to a plastic glass to take through.

The Cricketers at 1 Church Rd, Steep, is offering pizza delivery service to the Sotherington Barn during the Festival so if you haven’t got time to put a picnic together ring 01730 261035 or email cricketersinnsteep@gmail.com to place your order and arrange a delivery time.

Seating

There is no formal seating. There are some straw bales and tree trunks in the tent, or you are welcome to bring either rugs or low-backed picnic chairs. The weather is, as we all know, very changeable this Summer; do make sure that you have suitable clothing so that the evening chill does not hamper your enjoyment of the show.

Parking

The car park is on the right once you have entered the Bedales gates, and you will be directed by a PSF usher. More in depth directions to Bedales can be found here. Please could Blue Badge holders contact the organisers in advance on enquiriespsf@outlook.com

The Weather

The shows will go on unless very bad weather is thought to be a safety concern.  In the unlikely event of a cancellation you will be offered tickets for an alternative evening, subject to availability, or for next year’s Festival.
